Rajasthan has a reputation for royal luxury, but the state is just as rewarding for budget travelers who know where to look.

Street food is both affordable and excellent here. Look for local dal baati churma, kachori, and pyaaz kachori stalls rather than restaurant versions for a more authentic and cheaper meal.
